Collection Dossier — Privacy Policy

Collection Dossier ("the app") is a G.I. Joe Classified Series figure collection tracker. This page explains what data the app collects and how it's used.

What we collect

• Email address — used only to create and sign in to your account, via Firebase Authentication (a Google service).
• Collection status — which figures you've marked as ACQUIRED. This is stored against your account so it's available if you reinstall the app or sign in on another device.

What we don't collect

Photos you attach to figures stay on your device only and are never uploaded or transmitted anywhere.

Aggregate metrics

The app shows a "Metrics" view with the percentage of users who own each figure, calculated from anonymised counts across all accounts. Individual collections are never shown to other users — only the combined totals.

Data storage

Account and collection data is stored using Firebase (a Google Cloud service). It is not sold or shared with any other third party.

Deleting your Collection Dossier account and data

To delete your Collection Dossier account and all associated data:

1. Open the Collection Dossier app on your device
2. Sign in to your account if you aren't already signed in
3. Tap the menu in the header and select "Delete Account"
4. Confirm when prompted

This immediately and permanently deletes:

• Your account and login credentials (email)
• Your collection record (which figures you've marked ACQUIRED, and quantities)
• Your contribution to the aggregate METRICS statistics

Photos you've attached to figures are stored only on your own device and are not affected by account deletion — you can remove them at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in your device's app settings.

No data is retained after account deletion; there is no additional retention period.
